2025 Festival of Sail in Duluth.
Tall Ships return to Duluth, July 10-13, 2025, for a seventh installment of the popular festival and the Tall Ships Challenge® Race series in Duluth, MN. The first large event to feature the $30M renovation of the Duluth Seawall and new Harbor Plaza event space on Harbor Drive.

The popular festival will encompass the Duluth waterfront with an impressive fleet of majestic ships from far and wide. The initial line-up includes: General George Patton’s private Schooner “When-and-If,” Pride of Baltimore II, Inland Seas, Ernestina-Morrisey, St. Lawrence II (Kingston, ON), Abbey Road, Zeeto, Liberty Clipper, Schooner Charley, Alliance, Wonder and for the first time ever, tours of the William A. Irvin will be included.
The event has something for everyone needing a Tall Ships fix; onboard tours, day-sails, and a grand parade of sail. The Duluth waterfront will also have a full complement of vendors, artisans, food, music, entertainment, craft beer garden and THC lounge.
Limited sailing opportunities are available for those that want to experience the majesty of these vessels as they cruise under the Aerial Lift Bridge into Lake Superior. There are also very limited options to participate in the Grand Parade of Sail on Thursday, July 10th as the flotilla of vessels sail into port for the start of the festivities.
For 2025, the organizers have crafted an elevated Luxe Pass that includes rock star parking, early entry to the vessels, front of line privileges, private food and beverage experiences at The Garden (alcohol included).
